Nine-a-Side
Take thirty-two coins and lay them out in a square so that there are nine coins on each side of the square. Now remove four coins and re-arrange the remaining twenty-eight so there are still nine coins on each side of the square. Now remove a further four coins and re-arrange the remaining twenty-four so there are still nine coins on each side of the square. Now remove a further four coins and re-arrange the remaining twenty so there are still nine coins on each side of the square!

Solution
Here are the twenty-eight coins in a sqaure, with nine coins on each side, at each of the four corners of the square there are two coins and in the centre of each of the four sides there are five coins Next the twenty-four coins, with nine coins on each side. The square is made up of eight piles of coins, with three coins in each pile. Finally here is the twenty coin square, with nine coins on each side. At each of the four corners of the square there are four coins and in the centre of the sides there is one coin!
