Muggers' Money |
|---|
Two English gentlemen, Mr Neville and Mr Haydock, with £100 and £48 respectively, having to perform a journey through a lonely part of the country, decided to travel together for the purposes of company. As they were walking through the wood a gang of youths jumped out and threatened them. The gang leader was satisfied with taking twice as much from Mr Neville as from Mr Haydock and left to Mr Neville three times as much as to Mr Haydock. |
