How often do we have to sign up?
Once you have signed up you never need to again.
Do sales have to come through the link?
No. They can come either through the link, or at the point of purchase parents
are give an option as to which school they want to donate to.
Do we have to do anything else?
Just promote the affiliate scheme to parents to encourage sales. We fulfil the
order.
Our school hasn't signed up but parents are buying. What happens to the
money?
The money is held in an account for you for a limited time until you sign up.
If your school doesn't sign up in the time period set then it is passed into
the affiliate prize draw fund.
I can't put a link on the school website, can I still join?
Unfortunately not. We need the link to see that you are taking part. We
wouldn't expect you to put a link on the school website, ask the school
technician or school webmaster to do this. The instructions will be on the
affiliate sign up e-mail.
I have tried to log in but I need a password, how do I find it?
When the account is activated a teacher must enter a password. This is the
password needed to login. This teacher becomes the account manager; you must
ask this person for the password as we will not supply it to anyone else.
I am a teacher at a school, but not the affiliate account manager, can I
have access to the affiliate account?
Yes, but you must have the password (see above) to sign in and will only be
able to see limited information.
Do I have to buy more 10ticks products with the money?
There is an option within the shopping cart whereby you can set the money
against the price of 10ticks worksheets. Otherwise every quarter of the year
your account is checked and if the funds are over £50, a cheque will be sent to
your school.
How can I advertise this affiliate scheme to parents?
There are posters and letters that can be downloaded from your user area once
your school has signed up. These are to help you promote the affiliate scheme.
I'm leaving my school and I am affiliate account manager, what do I do?
You need to change who is account manager for the school from the affiliate
management panel. Once you have done that, then from your User Area you can
change the school you are linked to.
What is the affiliate prize draw fund?
Funds that are not allocated to a school go into a prize draw. All affiliates
are automatically entered into the draw; the winner will receive this money.
I am the account manager but have forgotten my password what can I do?
As the account manager you may request a forgotten password through the link on
the sign in page. We will not supply the password to any other user for
security.
How do I know if the affiliate scheme is activated for my school?
In your User areas you will see the affiliate scheme status. 'Not Active' means
there is no affiliate scheme in place for your school. 'Registered, but not yet
Active' means some one is part way through the process but hasn't placed the
link on the school website and clicked on it. 'Fully Active' means the
affiliate scheme is running for your school.
Note you may be in the 'Not Active' or 'Registered, but not yet Active' status
and see money in your account. This cannot be used until Fully Active.
I can see the school affiliate account is activated, but don't know who the
school affiliate manager is?
When you go to enter the password, it will show you who the affiliate manager
is.
Affiliate scheme and VAT
At some point we will ask for the schools VAT number for our records. This
enables us to claim back some output tax.
If your school has no VAT number you can select this option.
Note: Your school will not receive payments unless VAT details have been
entered. However funds may be used against school purchases via the 10ticks
shopping cart.
What happens if the link is removed from our school website?
As long as the link is not down for more than a week you should experience no
interuption of service to your affiliate scheme.
